I am very disappointed to announce that Top of the Pack Secure Area is now on hold whilst I start the search for a new area of land to rent or purchase.
This is due to being misled. I fully believed the land I've began developing and was promised to me recently as a sublet contract secondary to the Leaseholder would be secure.
I almost agreed to a contract which would be invalid as the person offering the lease was not the Leaseholder but had a sublet himself and not therefore in the position to sublet to me.
The Landowner confirmed the way around this would be to have an informal agreement with the person who sublets already from the Leaseholder.
As I do not trust an informal agreement to be enough to ensure we can hold a reliable service to clients and also for myself as a business, it is with heavy heart I've needed to let go of this project.
With the belief of having security with the land for my business I have already paid a contribution in several months of rent before opening so have unfortunately lost the money already invested in rent and groundwork.
I have made the decision to put this project on hold but not indefinitely.
I would like to offer my apologies to those of you that are eagerly awaiting for it to open but it is within my best interest as well as yours to ensure I can offer a reliable service for customers.
