This week we’ve been planting hedges and fruit trees, and slowly the land is beginning to take shape.
Buds are appearing on the willow, hazel, raspberry and hawthorn, soaking up the early spring sunshine.
Bramble, of course, doesn’t need planting, it happily finds its own way!
I’ve also clipped and cut plenty to begin drying for the upcoming forage boxes.
Everything is being planted with love and a long-term vision for this land.
It’s still early days, but I can’t wait to share more of the journey with you as it grows.

Next time I’ll take better pics - tbh the last thing I think about when I’m enjoying the land, is my phone! 🌱
