Just a little reminder that our fabulous groomer Jade is incredibly busy until mid-July, so please make sure you’re booking your appointments well in advance.

You’re always welcome to enquire about availability, and Jade will do everything she can to accommodate where possible. However, she’s committed to giving every dog the time, care and attention they deserve, so if there isn’t any availability, it’s because the diary is genuinely full and she can’t fit any more appointments in without compromising the quality of her work. ❤️

And while we’re here we have one more tiny favour to ask… ⏰

Please do arrive on time for your appointment. Jade’s diary is packed and late arrivals can throw a dog-shaped spanner in the works for the rest of the day, affecting other appointments too.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support. We love all your pups, and by booking ahead and arriving on time, you’re helping Jade make sure every dog gets the pampering they deserve. 🐾✂️

Meet Luna the Vizsla. While short-haired breeds may not need haircuts, they still need regular grooming—especially in hot weather.

Brushing helps remove loose hair, dirt, and dead skin, keeps the coat healthy and shiny, and gives us the chance to check for ticks, grass seeds, and skin issues.

A short coat is low maintenance, not no maintenance! ❤️🐶

Due to the high temperatures forecast for Monday, Doggy Fun Day has unfortunately been postponed. The safety and welfare of all dogs attending will always come first, and we fully support this decision by Hopefield Animal Sanctuary. 💜

BUT… the fun doesn’t stop there! 🎉

Meet Max 🐾 Poor Max has such a deep fear of vets that his owner had struggled to get him groomed previously because grooming appointments had become so overwhelming and stressful for him.

But this is exactly why patience, understanding, and experience matter so much.

Jade took things completely at Max’s pace — no rushing, no forcing, just calm reassurance, gentle handling, and time to build trust. By the end of his appointment, Max was completely muzzle free and showing everyone what a sweet boy he really is underneath all that worry 🥹

These moments are never about “just a haircut.” They’re about helping dogs feel safe, respected, and understood.

Trust is earned… and Max proved that beautifully. ✨

Well done, handsome boy — and huge credit to Jade for her calm, knowledgeable approach that helped Max feel comfortable enough to let his guard down 💜
