Hey!

I thought it was time to do a little introduction to me and my past pet care experience 😊

I started working in a boarding kennels when I was 15. We looked after dogs, cats, small furries and also the occasional horse! I loved working here and it kicked off my passion for working with animals.

I then moved on to working in a well known dog rescue centre (unsure if I’m allowed to name but thought it better to be on the safe side 😊). Here is where I learnt about positive reinforcement and have been using this ever since. We had some beautiful and challenging dog which I found so rewarding! There is nothing better than helping a dog to feel safe and secure in their environment and seeing the change in them! It’s safe to say I’m very comfortable around all breeds no matter their breed or size.

From here, I then ventured into a veterinary practice where I worked with a range of different species. From dogs & cats to hedgehogs and lizards. Then a friend offered me a position in her own dog walking a pet care business.

Here is when I realised that this is what I wanted to do! I would walk the more quirky dogs and absolutely loved it! Don’t get me wrong, I do love the group walks but love having the time to give each individual dog the full attention they deserved. We would care for all sorts of animals including chickens, tortoises, pigeons and the occasional beardy or two.

For some silly reason I thought it would be good for a change so went in to accounting! I have most definitely decided this is not for me 🤣

So here I am. Back offering my services to all you paw parents!!

Do you have a new puppy who isn’t quite ready to face the big world yet and you need someone to pop in? Or do you have an elderly dog who just wants a cuddle and a toilet break. Pop ins would be perfect. Even when the weather gets too hot for walks, I can pop in, make a fuss and let your furbaby out to the toilet.
Are you looking at alternative solutions to a cattery? Your pet can remain in their own home, I can come in once or twice a day to feed. I can even water your plants if needs be. You also have that added peace of mind that someone (who is DBS Checked) will be going in and checking your home is as it should be.
I have Experiance with a multitude of small pets, including reptiles, chickens, rabbits and Guinea pigs.
