October has been an amazing month, our Cotswold RAW Supplier of the Month launch was a huge success! 💚

We loved meeting so many of your lovely dogs (and cats!) who came to try Cotswold RAW....... the excitement, wagging tails, and happy tummies said it all! 🐶🐾

Puppy love alert! 🐾

Say hello to Lokum, the most beautiful baby Cocker Spaniel who came in for her very first health check and vaccine with our Deputy Head Vet, Gemma 💉💖

Here she is getting cuddles from our amazing nurse Nathalie and yes......she completely stole ALL of our hearts! 😍 🫶💜🩷

Did you know that all of our vets and nurses work across both our centres, so in our 24 hour hospital in Upminster and our Wellness Centre in Brentwood. That way, you’ll always see familiar, friendly faces wherever you visit! 💙

🐾 Meet Angus 🐾

This handsome gentleman is Angus, a stunning Mastín Español..... one of Spain’s most noble and gentle giant breeds, originally bred to guard flocks in the mountains. 💛

Today, Angus is calmly (and rather contentedly!) waiting for his appointment in our scent led waiting room, and we have to say he’s setting a wonderful example for all our canine visitors! 🐕✨

As an independent veterinary practice, we have the freedom to add thoughtful touches that make each visit a little less stressful and a lot more positive. With the amazing help of Patricia Be More Dog we’ve created a waiting space that truly thinks like a dog 💜

Instead of facing each other, our canine guests can wander and explore gentle, comforting scents around the edges of the room.... something to sniff, investigate, and enjoy. Even our most nervous patients often find a moment of calm among the soothing smells and relaxed atmosphere. 🥰

Because for us, it’s not just about medical care, it’s about wellbeing, comfort, and trust. 💚

And of course, we haven’t forgotten our feline friends! 🐱 With dogs enjoying their own dedicated area, our cats can relax separately, surrounded by soft blankets and a comforting mist of Feliway, a pheromone based spray designed to help them feel safe and settled 🩷

We have had this little cat handed into us this morning, and we are urgently trying to find his owners. He was found in Brentwood ( Hare Hall Nature Reserve). He has a microchip, but this doesn't appear to be registered. If you think he may be yours, please contact our Upminster hospital on 01708 251200

🐾 Woody Alert! 🐾

Say hello to Woody, the ridiculously handsome baby Working Cocker Spaniel who visited us for his health check and second vaccination! 🐶💉

This brave little boy took everything in his stride tail wags, cuddles, and all. 💪💙 And as a reward for being such a superstar, Woody went home with a brand new collar and matching lead, ready for all the exciting adventures ahead when he can finally explore the big wide world! 🌍🐾

This gorgeous little pup had his very first visit with us for his health check and vaccinations with the lovely Ashley and he was an absolute star! 💉🐶

Cooper also got VERY important cuddles from Macy and Nic, which, of course, are just as essential as the vet visit! 💕💕

🌟 Say a big hello to Tali’Zorah, this tiny, brave Sphynx kitten stole all of our hearts today when she visited us for her microchip! 🐾💉

Tali was a little superstar...... super brave, super sweet, and full of personality (and purrs!) 💜 She might not have fur, but she’s got plenty of love to go around.

📣 Did you know? It’s been law for over a year now to microchip your cat in the UK 🇬🇧. Not only is it a legal requirement, it’s also the best way to help lost cats find their way safely home. 🏡✨

🧠 Sphynx cat fact! Despite their lack of fur, Sphynx cats are incredibly affectionate and often described as “velcro cats” because they love cuddling up to their humans for warmth and attention. 💕

Well done, Tali Zorah you were purrfect today! 😻

💫 Cody the Charming Collie 💫

This handsome boy, Cody, is always an absolute delight when he visits us! With his glossy coat, gentle nature, and ever wagging tail, Cody turns heads every time he walks through our doors and let’s be honest, he knows it too! 🐾💙

Always beautifully groomed and beaming with happiness, Cody is the picture of grace and a lovely reminder of just how special the Rough Collie breed really is.

🧠 Did you know?
The Rough Collie is a native British breed, originally developed in Scotland as a hardworking herding dog. While they became famous thanks to Lassie, their true magic lies in their loyal, intelligent, and gentle personalities just like our lovely Cody.

We always look forward to Cody’s visits he brings calm, class, and cuddles in equal measure! 🐶✨

🌟 Poppy’s Proud Moment! 🌟

We had the absolute pleasure of a very special visitor at the clinic this week, the lovely Poppy, a 4 year old girl who strutted in with her tail high and her head held even higher… proudly showing off not one, but TWO beautiful rosettes! 🏅🐾💐

Poppy had recently been to Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, where she wowed the judges and took home awards for:

🥇 Best Young Trainer (alongside her amazing 8 year old owner what a team!)
🐶💕 Dog Who Looks Most Like Her Owner that's just too cute for words!

Well done, Poppy and well done to your wonderful young human. You’re both stars in our eyes! ⭐️⭐️
