It’s been a busy few days at the Wylie Wellness Centre Brentwood with some very special visitors – all different, but all part of the Wylie Family 💜

Billy, Bonzo, and Freddie came in together for their annual vaccinations – a proper family outing filled with wagging tails, tasty treats, and lots of cuddles from the team 💚🩵🧡

Dolli and Dolci popped by for their jabs too – full of confidence and a little bit of cheeky sister energy, but such well-behaved girls 🩷💜

Teddi, our gorgeous Husky x Chow and a Total Care Plan member, was a little nervous at first... but with some gentle reassurance (and plenty of treats), he left with clipped nails, up-to-date vaccinations, and a brand new fan club 🤎

Obi, our lovely Romanian rescue, visited for a meds check. He found his forever home just a year ago and has made incredible progress – he charmed everyone with his sweet, gentle nature 💙

Every pet that walks through our doors is part of the Wylie family – and we're here to provide love, care, and plenty of treats every step of the way 🫶🥰

We have had this little lady handed into us. Found over the weekend in Mountnessing. She is female but, no chip or collar.

In for a nurse check as part of her preventative plan and she couldn’t wait to get through the door 🧡

We love when our patients are happy to visit. With her humans’ permission, we gave Jess a warm welcome and yes, plenty of treats 🥰

Desensitising pets to the vet environment is part of what we do — from our scent-led dog waiting area to calming blankets for cats, it’s the little touches that make a big difference in independent practice 💫

A Family Affair! 🐾

Meet Riley, Dougal, and Oscar – three adorable companions who came in for their health checks as part of their prevention plans! 🩵💚🧡

Oscar is 12.5 years young, Riley is almost 6, and Dougal will be celebrating his 2nd birthday on April 18th! 🥳

These sweet pups were absolute stars during their visit, and Mum couldn’t be prouder! 🙌

At Wylies, we treat every pet like part of our own furry family. 🐾

Yesterday, Frankie stopped by with her owners for a free behavioural consultation with Patricia from Be More Dog 🧡

As one of our valued clients, you're entitled to one free consultation with Patricia! If you decide to continue working with her, any further arrangements are made directly with her, outside of Wylies. 💚

Having a behavioural session can not only help solve issues but also prevent them too! No question is too silly to ask, so feel free to reach out for advice 🥰

Meet Ollie 🩵

This sweet Siamese came in yesterday to see our amazing vet, Caroline, and the wonderful nurse, Chloe 🥰.

Can you believe Ollie will be turning 17 in May 🧡 He’s as confident as they come—purring away while the team took his blood 💚

And just a reminder, we have a cat-only clinic every Friday morning, so your feline friends can enjoy a calm and stress-free visit with no dogs around. It's the purrfect environment for your kitty! 😻

We were so excited to host 6 wonderful children from Grove House School in Brentwood, along with a small team from Cynophobia Family Support 🩷

Grove House School is the first specialist school in the East region for students with speech, language, and communication difficulties, and we’re incredibly proud to support them 🧡

At Wylies, giving back to the community is something we truly hold close to our hearts 💖

Our amazing nurse, Chloe, shared her journey of becoming a nurse with the children, and we had a fun dog-themed quiz! The kids also had the chance to listen to the heartbeat of a Cynophobia dog 💜

Although the children at Grove House School weren’t afraid of dogs, it’s important to highlight that the Cynophobia dogs undergo thorough assessments for calmness, ensuring they’re safe and approachable for everyone 💚 Their mission is to help children overcome their fear of dogs — a fear that can be life-limiting 😔

A massive thank you to our incredible Cynophobia dogs: Paddy, Bailey, Taschi (who has been with the program for 12 years!), and Magic, a retired guide dog. If you have a child who’s afraid of dogs, reach out to this amazing team of volunteers — they’re making a real difference! 🐕✨

Meet Loki 🩵

Handsome Loki is a smooth-haired Collie, a vulnerable native breed with fewer than 30 puppies registered with the kennel club in the UK last year. 🫶

He’s also the newest member of our Testing Plan! 💚

Our Testing Plan is all about testing before treating for fleas and worms 🐶✨. This approach ensures accurate diagnoses, effective treatments, and helps prevent unnecessary medications, which reduces the risk of resistance, side effects, and is better for the environment! 🌍

As a plan member, Loki gets all the essential care, including an annual health check and vaccinations, an annual nurse appointment. Plus, he enjoys amazing perks like 10% off raw dog food, dental products and treatments, and neutering! 💜

Such a gentle, handsome boy – we’re so happy to have him as part of the Wylie family! 💙
