Creatures Great and Small are an independant family run pet retail outlet with in-store dog grooming parlours based on the High Street in Brentwood and Billericay. We cater for all breeds and the groomers are always happy to help with any enquiries. All Groomers work in both stores. Creatures is a Cat & Dog food specialist with also a great range of accessories. Why not pop in and have a chat to our team who are always happy to give advice about your pets.

June is grass seed season!
Book your dog in for a foot trim!
Grass seeds can sneak in between your dogs toes, puncture the skin and cause pain, swelling and abscesses, often resulting in an expensive trip to the vet.
In hairy dogs it is better to have the hair between the pads shaved and the hair between the toes trimmed short, it makes it easier for checking for grass seeds.
We offer a foot trim service, sometimes available as a walk in service but best to phone ahead to check availability.
The cost is £15-£20 depending on the breed. We also have a walk in service for nail cutting..£10

Here at Creatures Great and Small we always say, if we haven't got it in stock we will order it especially for you.
We have helped plenty of customers source various items so they don't have to order online. It may take a day or two longer but you can see it before you buy it and avoid the hassle of packaging up returns!
We have regular repeat orders ready for customers each week. And..if you want to buy regularly in bulk, there's no harm in asking if we can do something on the price? sometimes there is wiggle room!
It's really important to shop local and help our High Streets thrive.

The 2026 annual Brentwood Art Trail, from Brentwood Connected Business Improvement District (BID) is just a month away, taking place from 30 May – 28 June with artists in action and various other creative activities in Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone 🙌

This year's Trail will feature more artists and businesses than ever before, with over 100 local creatives involved and 70+ places to view artwork across all three town centres. Brentwood Art Trail Event Days will take place at weekends with artists live in action, musical performances, and interactive activities for all ages throughout the month. We're excited to get creative this Summer - are you? 🎨

Join us for:

🖼️ 70+ locations acting as pop-up galleries across all three High Streets

🎨 Art on display from more than 100 local creatives

📍 Official Brentwood Art Trail Pop-Up Gallery at The Baytree Shopping Centre, open 10am-4pm daily

🖌️ Weekend art event days with artists in action and musical performances
