The BedSoft range of equine bedding products are specially formulated from locally sourced wheat straw, oilseed r**e straw and woodshavings.

BedSoft and HaySoft are both based at Frieze Hall Farm which is owned by the Bird family and the family members currently running the farm are fourth generation farmers in Essex. The straw is processed using a unique shredding machine; it is then treated with a state of the art dust-extraction method. All BedSoft bedding then receives the special BedSoft treatment, which features anti-viral, antib

acterial and insect repellent properties. The treatment leaves a bitter taste on the bedding to discourage bed eating and the whole process is non-toxic leaving the bed with a welcoming lemon fragrance. HaySoft
HaySoft is a nutritious haylage for horses and ponies that is produced from specially grown rye grass that is heat-sealed to retain goodness. HaySoft is uniquely cut and packed into 3 easy to manage sections, enabling it to be handled, and distributed easily. Many horse owners struggle to break-up packs of traditional haylage, but with HaySoft you can save time and hassle with the HaySoft pre-packed sections.
