Lead rein pony rides.
Absolute beginners/beginners children's lead rein pony rides in the school or along the lane for 1/2 / 40mins an hour or for those not feeling that brave to start then brushing, patting, feeding, cwtching, just interacting with a pony are also very welcome. All in all you will be here a good hour! Weekdays, weekends and all the way through the summer holidays. To book, you chose a day and time that fits for you then message me and i will check the diary and get back to you. Please pm me to enquire or book. (Max weight for pony is 8 stone).

Looking for a new home.
Registered Irish Draught 2 year old filly. Date of foaling 30th May 2022 She is by the wonderful Grade 1 RID Pedigree Mufin Midnight Rebel and out of my class 1 (Sec A) mare, Star Gazer. Dams sire -Gurran Goldeneye and Dams Dam - Kilduff Starlight.

She is registered and will be eligible for grading (class 1)

Home bred and brought up on a farm so used to farm machinery, livestock, dogs, children etc

She has a wonderful temperament and lovely movement and is very well handled. Easy to do and learns quickly. Good with farrier.

She will make somebody a very happy owner in whatever route you decided to take her.

not backed or broken. She will make 16.2+ and will be grey, (sire is a homozygous grey).

The right home for this lovely girl is very important.

Offering Weaning Livery for mares.

Its coming to that time of year when you are thinking of a date to wean and how best to do it. It is a stressful time for both mare and foal and yourself!

Cilwych Farm is a beautiful farm situated between the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. It offers a unique place for your mare to come during this stressy time.

On offer:
Lovely airy barn with access to field so have the choice of being in or out
Daily checks and night-time checks
Ample grazing
Top quality June hay made on the farm and fed ad-lib. Grooming .

Cilwych Farm is now offering Retirement Livery

Exclusive only for our beloved retired horses what-ever shape or size that want to relax without the stresses of a busy yard or younger horses pulling at their tails and manes and generally getting pushed around and for your peace of mind that your horse is happy with his/her new friends and chilled- out and happy in their new life style that is so well deserved.

Individually stabled at night throughout the winter months if required then out at day

These wonderful (older) horses owe us nothing after all that they have given to us over the years, it is us that now owes them to be able to retire in comfort.
