By far the most difficult part of my job is sharing in the pain when my clients have to say goodbye to their best friends.
Buddy really was a special boy. He always had his cup of milk before bed, turned into a puppy at walk time, loved the ladies, and was our chief bed tester.
He stole my heart straight away, and I feel privileged that his owners let me visit him Tuesday to say goodbye.
Buddy made it to 17 years old and went to sleep peacefully today with his mummy.
He gave so much love to his family. We are sending all our love and support to them at this difficult time.
Run free buddy boy. We love you and will miss you so much 💙🌈

The enclosure is back up, which can only mean one thing... Another surgery for our supervisor, Optimus on Thursday.
He will be having the lateral suture on his left hind this time, so fingers crossed this is his last surgery, and he can act on his crazy thoughts more often once he's recovered. 🐾🩵🐾
