This is Kraken 🦎

As many of you know, we currently have eggs incubating as part of our herpetoculture projects. He is soon to be a parent for the first time ever, we’re eagerly waiting to see what hatches!

Kraken has a huge appetite and never turns down food. Whether it’s insects or CGD, he’s always ready for dinner. 😅

We snapped this video of him this evening, showing off his stunning looks and personality.

Now it’s a waiting game as the eggs continue to incubate. We can’t wait to see what traits this guy passes on to the next generation!

Here’s a look at our Sapphire Blue Clownfish line, produced here at AdzAquatics, a UK-based aquaculture farm and captive breeding program.

🩵 SAPPHIRE LINE HOLDBACKS 🩵

Just look at the blue on our tank-bred clownfish holdbacks! 🤯

The amount of blue coming through is absolutely insane, and because of that we’re calling these our Sapphire Line. The expression we’re seeing from these genetics is honestly out of this world, with blue coverage that just keeps getting better as they develop.

We’re fairly certain you won’t find Frostbite/Bullethole clownfish in the UK showing this much blue. These fish are exactly why selective breeding is so exciting, every generation gives us the opportunity to push things a little further and see what these genetics are truly capable of.

These are staying with us as holdbacks for now, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what future generations produce. If this is where we’re starting, we can only imagine what’s coming next. 🔥
