🐴 The horse is out of the (laundry) bag now!

👀 Some of you may have seen already that we’ve just been given the going ahead by the planning department for a professional Equine (and canine) laundry here at the farm! 🧼

💙 This will be situated within our absolutely stunning old mistel/barn which you all pass whilst making your way to the dog park - it might look a bit run down at the moment but we plan to bring it back to life and give it the respect it deserves over the coming 12-18 months with new windows, doors, fresh repointing and guttering! We can’t wait!

🌱 In other news…

🪚 We’ll be moving our entrance gate further down over the next few weeks to bring it in line with the building where the laundry facility will be housed.
🔨 We’ll also be closing the paddock earlier next Tuesday evening (28th) to allow us to get in and sort them wobbly flag stones! 😂

💦 The doggy swimming pool has been placed on hold until next year now as the farm purchase took far longer than we anticipated so we’ve lost too much time to make it viable this year now unfortunately!

😞 Unfortunately we’ve seen more evidence of smoking at the facility than ever before this year!

🚭 Please remember that we are a NO SMOKING facility here at Woofing Around!

☀️ Extremely dry weather conditions make for a tinderbox environment here on the farm and with animals housed and hay/straw stored within close proximity to the car park and paddock, it’s simply unacceptable to smoke and risk starting a fire - you see how the ground is scorched around this discarded cigarette butt? Might have been a different story had it been dropped closer to the barn!😱😞

🙌🏻 FINALLY, temperatures that we can cope with - What. A. Week! 🥵

🔥 According to weather forecasts (not that we’ve got much faith in them these days 🤦🏻‍♀️), we are in fact set for another heatwave in early July - that can only mean one thing…..get those beautiful pooches booked in for a play whilst the weather is on side!

🐶 Whilst we miss your beautiful pooches dearly during hot spells like this, we wholeheartedly understand the dangers of walking them in such high temperatures and encourage people not to do so!

🐾 If you are booked in with us over the next few days (we know some people like to book ahead) PLEASE message us and we will happily reschedule your session free of charge!

☀️ Enjoy the sunshine people and keep those pooches safe and cool - we’ll see you again when the temperatures have dropped!

💔 We’re so very sad to hear of two furbabies who’ve recently passed over the rainbow bridge leaving behind loving families and ‘siblings’ - our hearts go out to them! 🌈🪽
