Jade is student veterinary nurse at Bracken and has nearly completed her training with MYF College. When she isn't revision or practicing her practical skills, Jade is working in every corner of the practice: From consultations, anaesthetics, inpations and lab work, Jade can do it all! We look forward to celebrating her qualifying soon!

Please help keep your pets safe in the heat by ensuring they have plenty of water, shade, and avoiding walks during the hottest parts of the day.

To help reduce unnecessary travel for pets during the heat, we kindly ask that you only attend for essential visits where possible.

If you are unsure whether your pet needs to be seen, please give us a call 🐾

🐾Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month!🐾 Nurse of the week this week is Amelia!

Amelia graduated from the University of Bristol in 2025 and is a pre-certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist. Amelia provides the behavioural clinics here at Bracken as she builds her caseload to become fully certified, and offers a wealth of knowledge, working closely with owners and their pets to provide tailored training plans.

When she isn't in the consult room. Amelia advocates for the psycological wellbeing of inpatients, ensuring they have as calm and stress free environemnt as possible. As one of our cat friendly advocates here at Bracken, she is always looking to ensure careful care of our feline patients.

MISSING - Bombo and Ramen - 1yr old male Albino Ferrets

*POSTED ON BEHALF OF ONE OF OUR CLIENTS*

“Our children's ferrets have escaped from their outside hutch in our garden in Bracknell. Please can you let us know if you find them or if someone contacts you.

Their names are Bombo (originally named Rambo by the rescue centre) and Ramen. They are white/albino, both approximately one year old. Ramen lost his front right leg before he came to us.

They are micro-chipped, but currently still registered to Ferret Rescue Surrey.”

Please contact the practice if you have seen them around the Forest Park area.
