😐A job no-one likes doing but has to be done regularly for a few reasons.

1️⃣As algae and coralline algea build up on the cages and impeller, efficiency reduces.

2️⃣Eventually your flow will be reduced affecting all livestock in your tanks.

3️⃣Regularly taking apart pumps gives you the opportunity to check if everything is as it should be in the housing.

👷🏻Two of the four aquariums from today.

1️⃣First up, delivery (with the help of ReefKeeper Moss End ) and a dry install of this lovely marine tank in Bracknell.

2️⃣Followed by my regular visit to the turtles in Chineham.

😅I also tested and cleaned a saltwater aquarium in Birch Hill and a cold fresh water system in Blackwater.
