There is no script for all dogs.
They aren’t all friendly.
They don’t all like kids.
They don’t all like people.
They don’t all like dogs.
They won’t all tolerate being groomed.
They won’t all want to rough house.
They won’t all want to chase.
They won’t all be calm.
They won’t all be quiet.
This is why we don’t subscribe to the “let dogs be dogs” because they’re individuals even though they might learn in the same way they experience life differently.
So if someone tells you your dogs needs friends or needs to socialise remember it comes from a place that lacks experience and exposure to many different dogs and it’s their reality, not yours.
