☀️🐾 HOT WEATHER WARNING FOR OUR FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS 🐶❤️

With temperatures rising and the heat wave arriving, our pets can struggle much more in the heat than we do. Dogs in particular can overheat very quickly, especially during walks, playtime or when left in warm environments. Heatstroke can become serious fast, so it’s really important we all take a few extra precautions during the warmer days ☀️

Here are a few simple ways to help keep your dogs safe, cool and comfortable:

💦 Make sure fresh, cool water is always available
🌳 Keep them in shaded, cool areas where possible
🚶‍♂️ Walk early mornings or later evenings when temperatures drop
🔥 Avoid hot pavements — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
🧊 Cooling mats, damp towels, paddling pools and frozen treats can really help
🚗 Never leave dogs in cars, they are better left at home. Dogs can die in hot cars!

Please also keep an eye out for signs of overheating such as:
⚠️ Heavy panting
⚠️ Excessive drooling
⚠️ Weakness or tiredness
⚠️ Vomiting
⚠️ Bright red gums or tongue

If you think your dog is overheating, move them somewhere cool immediately, offer water and contact your vet if needed ❤️

What a beautiful few days of sunshine we’ve been having ☀️ There’s nothing better than spending time outdoors with animals, fresh air, and plenty of wagging tails. Caring for animals has always been a huge passion of mine, and I feel incredibly lucky to do something I truly love every day. ❤️🐾

As many of you already know, I’ve stepped away from my regular day-to-day dog walking services. However, I’m still offering my pet sitting service and absolutely love caring for your pets while you’re away.

A huge thank you to all my lovely clients for your continued support — I’m now fully booked for pet sitting in May! I only have a few spaces remaining in June,July & August so if you have holidays, weekends away, or trips planned, please get in touch as soon as possible.

There’s something really special about seeing a dog truly happy on their walk 🐾

The wagging tails that don’t stop, the zoomies out of nowhere, the big grins, the muddy paws, and that look of pure joy when they’re out exploring the world. It’s in the way they greet their friends, the excitement over the simplest things, and the calm, content feeling once they’ve had their adventure.

Every walk is more than just exercise — it’s their time to be themselves, to explore, to play, and to just enjoy being a dog.

And honestly… their happiness is completely contagious 🐶💛

Nothing beats watching a group of dogs happily running around together, tails wagging and ears flapping in the breeze. Every walk is full of little moments like this—playful chases, new friendships, and lots of excitement.
