Wet Monday morning but the driveway is repaired ☺️ might have taken 8 tons of stone and all rolled in but definitely worth it!

How long it will last god knows 🤦‍♀️ hopefully we have a lovely dry February. 🤣🤣
I knew this winter was going to be a test, as our first year open so I’m learning lots along the way.

Due to the amount of ☔️heavy rain ☔️ we’ve had the last two months to field is extremely wet, so please bring extra towels for dogs also don’t forget your wellies!

The driveway is being repaired Monday when the stone arrives so please take extra care while entering and leaving over the weekend.

If you are booked in and would like to reschedule please just message me and I can get that sorted for you.

Due the the amount of rain we’ve had recently the driveway has washed away in areas, we have a digger for tomorrow afternoon and we will be grading it back, I’ll order up stone once we’ve seen what we are left with. 🫣

Please take care while entering and leaving the site, but hopefully as of tomorrow this will be sorted!

Unfortunately this isn’t a post I’ve wanted to do, nor have I needed to in the past!

The p**p situation seems to have become a problem the last few weeks!
I am in the field everyday doing site walks and picking up more p**p than ever before, the last 3 weeks have been horrendous.
I’m so embarrassed when I get to the field and see how much has been left behind, I feel awful for the people who do pick after their dogs, to then have to dodge other people’s dog p**p.

I totally understand the weather is awful at the moment and it’s probably easier to stand in the field shelter, but please keep an eye on your dogs and clear up after them.
I apologise to anyone who has been in the field and had to dodge the p**p..
More signs have been ordered and will be placed all around the site.

New sign for the gate as you enter the parking / dog field. A polite reminder regarding times, please do not arrive before your booking time. Unfortunately some people are still arriving early, so if everyone can just respect each others times, that would be fantastic.

As the evenings are going to be a lot darker now, we have just installed a motion censored light, in the field shelter. Due to planning permission I’m unable to light the field up like a football pitch, 😆 because of the bats!

💩 post now unfortunately there does seem to be a lot of p**p not being picked up, so please try and keep an eye on your dogs whilst in the field! You will notice we’ve put up some friendly reminders.

Paddling pool will be removed end of this week, and will return in the spring..

Some of you will notice a few new things in the field today, we also added extra support and two more lifebuoys, for the dogs that love to jump. 🥰
Before it got dark, we managed to fill in a large hole in the middle of field and repacked it with fresh soil.👌
