**Equestrian Workers Wanted**

We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to help run the yard

**Key Requirements:**

🐴A genuine passion for horses and their welfare — animal care must always be your top priority.
🧠Common sense and the ability to work independently and unsupervised.
⌚️Self-motivation, honesty, and reliability are essential.
🧘🏾‍♀️Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the yard and horses to cover each other's time off. General hours 9am - 5pm including weekend days on a rota decided between yourselves!
😁 A friendly and cheerful attitude!

Experience with horses and a good work ethic are most important.

Job share/part time/full time - the right people matter most. £12.75 - £15 per hour plus tips and annual profit related bonus

Purple Dog Ltd First Aid Training Huddersfield are delivering the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course in a blended format here at Bourton Vale Equestrian Centre 4pm Tuesday 28th October.

Learners complete the online theory in advance, then attend four hours of practical face-to-face training with our experienced instructors

This course is fully HSE compliant, aligned with British Resuscitation Council standards, and the certificate is valid for three years.

Learners will cover:
• The role and responsibilities of a first aider
• Assessing an incident safely and effectively
• Managing an unresponsive casualty
• CPR and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Recovery position and monitoring breathing
• Seizures (including epilepsy)
• Choking
• External bleeding and shock
• Minor injuries (cuts, grazes, bruises, burns, scalds, small splinters)

The blended format reduces time away from work while ensuring all essential practical skills are taught and assessed.

We took on a new girl today! Assistant Pest Control Officer Liqorice has moved into Quarantine while she gets familiar with her colleagues and environment. She prefers cat company to humans and our feral crew are always happy to have an extra paw to help (especially since a certain few slack off on the sofa nowadays 🙈😆🐈‍⬛)

Clients looking 👀👀👀 for 🐴🐴 NOT to be kept with us.
1 - Up to 15.2hh schoolmaster minimum 14.2 for first horse. Must be safe, like to jump, load and catch easily.
2 - Leadrein pony for tiny tot. Safe on ground and love to be brushed

Today we played horse "Snap" 🤣
