True Australian Frilled Lizard - Chlamydosaurus kingii 🦎

The Australian Chlamydosaurus kingii, commonly known as the frilled-neck lizard, is a distinctive agamid reptile famous for the dramatic frill around its neck, which it can flare open in displays of intimidation. Native primarily to northern Australia and parts of southern New Guinea, this arboreal lizard spends much of its time in trees but descends to the ground to hunt insects, small vertebrates, and other prey. When threatened, it rises on its hind legs, opens its brightly colored frill, hisses, and may even run bipedally to startle predators—a behavior that has made it iconic in nature documentaries. Despite its fierce appearance, the frilled-neck lizard relies more on bluffing and speed than aggression.

These are the true Australian locality, not the cheaper Indonesian cousins. NOW TAKING DEPOSITS! Someone buy these before I keep them for myself 🤣

The desert iguana (Dipsosaurus dorsalis) is a heat-tolerant lizard native to the deserts of the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico. It has a pale, patterned body, lives in sandy creosote-bush habitats, and is primarily herbivorous—especially fond of creosote bush flowers and leaves. Active during the day, it withstands extremely high temperatures and shelters in burrows. The species is common and not considered threatened.

These are rarely seen nowadays, really different and interesting lizard to keep! Keep them baking hot and they will thrive for you 🦎
