UPDATE

I am now back to work and slowly getting the cancelled appointments back in.

I just want to thank everyone for being really understanding and all the kind messages. Last week was extremely difficult for my family. Luckily my son’s back home after a week and feeling more like himself!

Other than being told 3 weeks rest and to get a check up in 4-6weeks time they expect him to make a full recovery. Still baffles me how he is now compared to less than a week ago in hospital!

Thanks to all the other groomers for their support in helping me with work and just helping me in general and my amazing friends and family for all the help!❤️❤️

I am very blessed to have amazing people around me 🥰❤️. Thank you!

Hello guys,

Just a bit of an update. Some of you will hear from me soon about cancelling appointments as one of my sons is currently in the ICU at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham since Sunday night. Going between Nottingham and home and having another son is very hard.

I do not know if the appointments I will be cancelling whether I can get booked back in in a timely manner as I don’t know how long this will take and his health is priority and he currently needs someone by his side all the time.

So if you can book in elsewhere if I do cancel your appointment this time it will take a lot of pressure off my shoulders.

This year has been manic but as of last night we are all done!

Being a dog groomer means you go through life seeing dogs grow older and they really do become part of an extended family.

Over the years, you grow attached, not only to the dogs but the families as well. You look forward to visits when you see them on your schedule, laugh at their character and quirks and cherish the time they spend in the salon.

But even knowing the inevitable will eventually happen never makes it any easier when they have to pass over the rainbow bridge 🌈 🐾.

Munch - you will never be forgotten, you were such a funny and lovely boy. The list of people who love you is long and tears will flow but it’s never goodbye just see you later ❤️

I will hug your sister and cousins tighter when they come to see me but it will never be the same without you trotting along ❤️‍🩹
