Today was Coco’s very first groom, and she was an absolute superstar from start to finish ⭐️

Coco is a mix of two breeds, one of them is fairly dominant but the other may come as a surprise! Even as a groomer

Everyone meet Bear 💙

At 8 years young, this sweet little man came for his first ever visit to a salon. After usually having a home-do by his dad, his mum decided he to treat him to a pamper✨

We kept it short and sweet with a bath and face tidy, and he was an angel throughout😇

It was an absolute pleasure to have him in the salon and his mum was so pleased to be able to see his beautiful eyes again🤩

Everyone meet Maggie❤️

This gorgeous 10-month-old Irish Setter came in for her very first grooming experience… and she was an absolute superstar⭐️

She enjoyed a gentle bath, blow dry, and a tidy-up of her lovely feathers. She was a little anxious at first but soon found her rhythm and absolutely loved the hairdryer! And just look at that shine 😍

First grooms are all about building confidence and making it a positive experience… and Maggie nailed it 💕

Bear the German Shepherd came in with a lot of loose dead coat… and I mean A LOT 😅

After a full de-shed, he’s feeling lighter, fresher, and looking super smart. Honestly I think I could’ve made another dog with all that hair😂

But de-shedding isn’t just about looks—it helps keep coats and skin healthy✨ not to mention prolonging the life of your hoover😂

This boy is a bit of a mystery, coming from the streets as a rescue dog, we’re not entirely sure of his heritage. He looks a little Tibetan Terrier, maybe a bit of Briard, and possibly a little Shepherd - who knows?!

It’s taken a little while to find his feet, and we’re working on him being able to have a bath without me also having a shower in the process🥴 but he’s come on leaps and bounds since he first walked into the salon last summer!

Whatever his background, he’s grown into a lovable giant who just wants to feel safe and have a cuddle. And of course a few treats😋
