Hi all,

It's been a while since I last posted, but I felt this lovely lady was worth a mention, if you remember a friend if mine, Sharon Godwin went to the rescue centre Many Tears to volunteer with her family for a weekend, well if that wasn't enough she is now a fully fledged foster mum and is already on her second foster.
Her name is Oddette she came into Many Tears seriously matted so had to be fully shaved,I had the pleasure of a couple of hours giving her a good pamper yesterday and fell in love with her, she was a little nervous initially, understandably with the new surroundings but I found her to be very laid back gentle and a really lovely personality, definitely would make a fantastic addition to a family home.

She is currently being fostered in Bottesford so if you are interested in adopting contact Sharon Godwin via messenger as she has all the details.

Hi all,

You may remember these smashing girls and boy, they had a bit of a shaky start in life and spent time being cared for by Many Tears, a rescue centre in Wales.

They were then lucky enough to find their forever home with Sharon and her family in Bottesford.

Sharon and her family have decided to give something back and have volunteered at the Many Tears centre for a weekend, she has asked if anyone would like to support them in their venture with the following new or used items.

Blankets, puppy and adult dog toys, dog bowls, leads, harnesses, food, treats, or anything else that the centre can use.

If you would like to help PM me as they need to be collected by next Thursday 15th August.

It was our boys 4th Birthday yesterday,spoilt with plenty of pressies, he loves it when we sing Happy Birthday to him, the problem is that he dives for the cake and it doesn't matter who's Birthday it is as he thinks it's for him...🤣🤣

This post is a plea on behalf of a very special, yet utterly shut down lady that has spent her entire 9yrs of life being used in a breeding facility and now is desperate to have the love and compassion from a family that’s willing to give her a chance.

Antigua, a gorgeous Tibetan x Newfoundland, is not doing well here at the rescue, and the likelihood is that she has been just as worried, shut down and scared for a long time before she even found herself here. Us staff struggle to comprehend just what’s going on in her head, but with each day passing, it’s easy to see that this lady has utterly given up on life. She isn’t eating at all right now and is currently being syringe fed, but this is what happens, even though we know she is safe here, she has no idea what to expect from us.

We were told before her arrival that she was just 3 years old, but it turns out this large girl is actually closer to 9. She has been in the same place for the last 9 years and being here has turned her world upside down. As you can see from her pictures, Antigua is a very big girl and true to her breed temperaments, she is a giant softie that doesn’t deserve to find herself pacing anxiously within a kennel like she is currently.

Antigua shows signs of being the most incredible companion and her personality definitely starts to shine when she gets to go on walks. The further away she is from the kennels, the more at ease she becomes. She enjoys having a roam around the fields and sniffing out her environment, and whoever adopts her will get to give her the experience of discovering loads of new places.

Antigua could be the girl of dreams but we just need someone to properly bring it out of her. We understand that all of our dogs need to break free, but it’s painful to see a lady like this in such desperate need of tlc and the bottom line is that Antigua isn’t going to blossom in this environment, she needs a person to save her.
