Last VIP Day Today! Today is the last VIP Day of the year and your last chance to see our exotic animals and reptiles up close this year. Please come and join us for an exciting day of fun and activities. Booking not essential and don't forget you are welcome to bring your dogs to enjoy the day too! We hope everyone who has joined us for our VIP days over the summer has enjoyed their visit, we can't believe the holidays are almost over already! We have just one more VIP day this coming Wednesday (26th) which will be your last chance this year to view our reptile house, join our reptile and invertebrate handling sessions, meet our exotic residents, and take part in some of our private experiences!

After our VIP day tomorrow, from 6pm we would like to invite people up to the top of our hill to view the eclipse. There is no charge for this and we have ISO certified glasses so that people can watch it safely (these are limited so we may have share or you can bring your own).
The cafe will be open until 8pm so you can buy snacks and drinks to take up with you, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
There are two ways up the hill, either by the steps opposite the main entrance or by the gate at the other end which is a gentler but longer walk up the hill. The views at the top are amazing and we look forward to being able to share this with you on such an exciting day.

Warm weather update! ☀️

Due to the hot weather forecast for tomorrow, we have altered the schedule for our VIP day (Wednesday 12th). For the safety of our animals, we have removed the Petting Barn meet and greet sessions at 11am and 2pm, as our rabbits and guinea pigs are sensitive to warm weather (it is also likely that these sessions will be cancelled for the rest of the week during our usual non-VIP days if the temperatures remain high). Instead, we will be having our Piggy meet and greet at 11am, where you will be able to meet Truffle and Otis.

We expect to revert to the original schedule for the next VIP days (Wednesday 19th and 26th August).

Please make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen and drink lots of water if you are visiting us tomorrow!

Looking forward to seeing everyone at our first Twilight with the Animals and BBQ Night tomorrow evening from 5pm - 8pm....

Looking forward to seeing everyone at our first Twilight with the Animals and BBQ Night tomorrow evening from 5pm - 8pm. We are holding these every Saturday in August, so please come along and join us. For those who want to enjoy a beer with their burger, please feel free to bring your own as we do not hold an alcohol licence.

Meet our pigs, Otis and Truffle, at 2.30pm every day (except VIP days). Give them a brush whilst you learn all about them from our keepers. This is included in your entry ticket and everyone can take part! 🐷

We hope everyone who visited us today enjoyed our first VIP day of the summer, our next one will be Wednesday 5th August!

Our VIP days are the only days of the year that visitors can view our reptiles, owls, raven, wallabies and other non-domestic animals. We also have our reptile talk at 1pm, reptile meet and greet at 3.30pm, and our 'creepy crawly corner' morning and afternoon sessions, on these days only!

Our VIP days start next Wednesday and take place every Wednesday for the next 5 weeks! During our VIP days our usual farm and domestic residents will be on display, but additionally our exotic animal areas will also be open to the public including our reptile house and second site which houses our owls, raven, emu, wallabies and more.

Our reptile talk will take place at 1pm, and our reptile handling session will take place at 3.30pm where you will be able to meet some reptiles up close. Face your fears by meeting some creepy crawlies in the conservation classroom and investigate some owl pellets to see what our owls have had for lunch!

The summer holidays have started, so come and visit us if you are in the area!

We are open every day, 10am-6pm.

You can meet some of our rabbits and guinea pigs at 11.30am* and our pigs** at 2.30pm each day. Our VIP days are also just around the corner, more info on those will be posted soon!

*Please note, our petting barn meet and greet may be cancelled if temperatures are too high!
** Meet the pigs will not take place on VIP days.
