This week's project has been a little revamp of one of our chicken enclosures 🐓

We have created a new set of perches and platforms in their house, replaced the old, blown window, given everything a lick a paint, removed some of the substrate and turned over the rest to refresh it, and added lots of enrichment outside including log piles and branches, a mesh grazing box which will allow grass to grow for the chickens to forage, perching towers, a mini see-saw and a chicken swing!

Did you know that we are dog friendly at the Animalarium. Our resident cat, Merlin, will tolerate dogs, but not happily.

Now we’ve reached the 1st September, the summer holidays are officially over!

We wanted to thank everyone who visited us over the last 6 weeks and we all hope you enjoyed our VIP days. Keep an eye here for 2026 dates.

It's our last VIP Day of the year today! Come and see some amazing animals up close. We are open until 6 pm!

It was the last day of our Summer Kids Club today, and our young wildlife warriors had a great time helping to build this fantastic Bug Hotel!

Visitors can see the results of their hard work next to the fishpond!
