It is with great sadness that we write this.
Today Firhill lost a much loved treasure as Cherry made her way to Rainbow Bridge 🌈
For then past 2 years she has bravely fought a battle with cancer and has overcome the odds suprising us all many times. But we now take great comfort in knowing that she is at peace and surrounded by the love and licks of many of the animals that she has loved and cared for over the years, as well as a whole host of family and friends.
Iain, his family and Dilly ask you all to please share your love and memories of Cherry below.
RIP Cherry and may your crossing over Rainbow bridge have been filled with many waggy tails 💗🌈💗

COVID UPDATE

Dear Customers

We wish to follow the Updated Government Guidelines 11/01/21 for pet grooming which states that grooming should be put off at this time wherever possible to help stop non essential journeys and stop the spread of covid.

We are open for any dogs and cats which need grooming that cannot be put off. This may be overgrown nails, dirty bottoms, hair in front of the eyes, extensive knotting which could cause the pet discomfort or veterinary referrals etc.

Please follow government guidelines and stay home, stay safe and help stop the spread of covid. Only leave your house if absolutely necessary.

Thank you for your patience and loyalty at this time while we have all been supporting the NHS during the Covid 19 Pandemic.

We have prepared guidelines for all customers to follow when visiting the salon, please read them on my website before visiting. We also have regular covid cleaning regimes in place.

❌ PLEASE LEAVE THEM IN THE SHOPS ❌

It's that time of year again when we start to think about buying our pets some Christmas presents and treats. There’s nothing “raw” or good about the treats below - they are actually full of chemicals that would be toxic to your pet.

A basic run down on “raw”hide;

☠️ the hides are soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat off the skin.

☠️ More chemicals are then used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the smell.

☠️ Now comes the pretty festive colours and the GLUE (yes, glue) to form cute shapes.

In addition to the toxic manufacturing process, they also regularly cause intestinal blockages and choking. The chews become slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog.

Please be safe with your dogs!

Alternative treats that are 100% natural such as tripe sticks, fish skin twist, lamb and cow ears, chicken feet, pizzles etc. are all easily available and a much better choice
