A gentle approach makes all the difference for anxious dogs, and this is exactly how I make sure they feel safer with me 🤎

🐶 I let them take all the time they need to have a sniff and suss out the environment
🐾 I (always) allow time for cuddles and warm welcomes, so that your dog knows they are loved and safe
🐕 I build a super calm & chilled environment: think quaint cabin in the garden, lo-fi jazz music & constant reassurance
🥎 I always end the groom on a positive note - whether it’s treats, playtime or (more) cuddles
✂️ I offer desensitisation sessions & introductory grooms, so that you & your dog can get an idea of what it will be like when they visit me

These are the steps that have made many nervous dogs that little bit more calmer in The Hut 🤎🛖
