Busy little day today! Leg clip for this lovely lady. Her legs had been a bit scabby previously and she wasn't overly keen - lovely to see how much better they are looking and as a result she stood perfectly!
Plait time for the boys! Amigo had to have a nap after!

This is a shout out to all the owners who work hard with their horses to make them comfortable! This horse I have clipped for about a year, he had never been 100% comfortable with his legs - his mum has worked so hard to make him feel comfortable with the clippers and it really showed tonight. Stood relaxed while I clipped munching on his hay!

Definitely worth the bath for your horses sake

Always wash the horse 🧼🧼

Our DMs have been full of “Do I HAVE to wash my horse?”

The answer is always YES- your clippers, blades and horse will thank you 👏

A good wash with shampoo and plenty of scrubbing is a must pre clip

It ensures

📍 Less pressure on your machine
📍 Longer lasting blades
📍 Comfortable for the horse

There is no substitute for a good bath so avoid any dry shampoos or pre clip oils. These may react with your horse or cause your blades to heat or blunt.

IF you have no wash facilities as a last resort a good groom (that should take over and hour and leave you sweating) will work and hot clothing with warm water in the week run up to clipping. Ensure the horse is rugged and dry if you dont have stabling facilities.

Clipping day today. Clip 1/4 followed with an AlvaCleanse wash!!! Look at that shine.
Cleans all the hair and grease from the coat and makes them super shiny
