You can find your local surgery in the Bolton, Bury, Wigan and North Manchester areas. We pride ourselves on offering a caring, personal service to your family pets from highly qualified professional staff. We are not responsible for any ownership

disputes that may arise; we are simply advertising information given to us at our surgeries or directly to the Regan Veterinary Group page. Delighted to say she been trapped and her owner has been found ❤️
A huge thanks to Independant Cat Rescue Prestwich for coming out on the weekend to help with this beautiful little girl.

Cat - green barrel on a collar found trapped in a garage in Prestwich - old hall road area. Possibly there since Wednesday or Thursday.

Safe - has food, water home owners have been unable to catch or coax out.

Continue to try and trap and will be taken to Park Vets for microchip check if successfully caught.

Appears uninjured from a distance.

Found - long haired male white and ginger cat in the Prestwich area - please contact us on 01617731819 urgently if this is your cat - proof of ownership required.
He is currently stable but is undergoing emergency treatment and we need to find his owners urgently.

*UPDATE - we are devastated to post this update, but this little girl lost her brave fight yesterday. Sadly despite the most intensive care- antibiotics, painkillers, intravenous fluid and careful feeding, her blood tests and ultrasound scans showed her liver was too badly damaged to recover and the heartbreaking decision to let her go peacefully was made.

When cats don’t eat for any period of time their organs can stop functioning rapidly and it is likely this beautiful girl would have had a very difficult time had she not be rescued when she was and brought to us.

She passed over the rainbow bridge peacefully, with cuddles and love. 🌈
RIP little one.

Our plea to everyone is to Please, Please, check your sheds on a frequent basis - cats love to crawl in and take shelter in unusual places and can’t always get out. Time is critical if they become trapped.

Microchipping for cats becomes a legal requirement from June 1st - we hope this will help us reunite the dozens of stray cats we see every month, whose owners are desperately hunting for them but we have no way to find their families.

Please book in for your microchip if your cat is not already done - it’s quick, cheap and relatively painless and can be the difference between finding your pet if it goes missing and not.

The injuries are being assessed by our team and the cat is receiving all the care needed.

We have been made aware of a horrific scam in the veterinary industry this evening, whereby individuals advertising lost pets have been contacted by a scam artist - claiming to be a veterinary surgeon. The caller states the pet has been found and needs urgent treatment and payment is required over the phone immediately.

Please be aware our clinics are open only during the daytime hours of 8.30am - 6.30pm and we would never withhold urgent and immediate care from an injured pet based on finances.

If you have lost your pet. - and do receive such a call from any veterinary centre, requiring payment upfront, please be cautious. Please contact the police if you believe the call to be fraudulent.

we can only hold the dog until this afternoon and then the dog will be collected by the dog warden.

Unfortunately today, we have had a deceased cat brought to our Bury Road, Bolton, branch. He was found on Bury road.
He is un-neutered, has no microchip or collar, he's around 5 yrs old, black and white ,has 4 white paws and white under his chin.
