Village Pet Shop – Closing Down Notice

Hello everyone,

We will be closing the Village Pet shop doors. Our last trading date will be 30 June 2025.

In the run up to closing, we will be offering final clearance discounts on remaining stock and won’t be restocking any items or taking any new orders.

Don’t worry, Village DIY isn’t going anywhere(!) and will be selling small amounts of bird and small animal food. We’ll keep you updated with what’s in stock.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our customers past and present. We’ve loved meeting you and your pets over the years.

As is the tradition to go for a walk on Boxing Day, we headed out to Moses Gate 🚶🏻🚶🏽‍♀️🥾

Sadly we’re still seeing so much mess. 😖

🌳🌴🌲We implore everyone to be conscious of what they’re feeding wildlife and how we treat our green spaces.

‼️🚨We saw mouldy bread, food and salad thrown in the park. This is dangerous to animals and biodiversity. Stick to specially selected seeds and feed.
