Sadly our gorgeous boy Lenny has found himself back with us, due to no fault of his. Lenny is perfect in every way once he gets to know you and will be a real snuggle buddy!

When Lenny came into our care the first time he was super shy and it took him a long time to trust us. He came out of his shell and is now a friendly, affectionate boy who wants someone to love him.

Lenny is looking to be a house cat with owners that understand that he may take a little while to settle in to his new home❀️ he has a lot of love to give but just need the right home to help him come out of his shell 😻

We recently received some wonderful donations in loving memory of Kath Jolly and would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed.

We were incredibly grateful to receive a cash donation, kitten food, and a washing machine, all of which will make a real difference to the animals in our care.

Kath sounded like such a wonderful woman who was clearly loved by so many people. We are honoured that her memory has been celebrated through kindness and generosity towards our shelter.

We would also like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers at our charity shop on Chorley Old Road.

Without your dedication, hard work and support, the shop simply would not run as smoothly as it does. From sorting donations and creating displays to helping customers and raising vital funds for the animals in our care, every single thing you do makes a difference.

Firstly, thank you so much to everybody who has donated, shared Bambi’s story, and sent kind messages of support. The love shown towards this special little girl has been incredible πŸ’–

Following further discussions with the specialists, Bambi is currently stable and, thankfully, isn’t showing any symptoms. She has now started medication to help slow her heart and, for the moment, she is living a happy, normal life β€” which is exactly what we hoped for 🐾

At this stage, the specialists have advised continuing with medication and monitoring her closely with scans every 9-12 months, rather than rushing straight into surgery.

However, Bambi’s condition is still very serious and unpredictable. While she may remain stable for years, things could also change very quickly. There is also a risk of sudden complications in the future, which could mean difficult decisions need to be made under far more pressure.

Because of this, we are continuing to prepare for the possibility that specialist treatment may still be needed further down the line.

Bambi’s treatment has already been a very costly process with specialist vets, X-rays, consultations and now ongoing medication, so we truly cannot thank you all enough for helping us raise the money towards her care. Your support is making all of this possible and means more than we can ever put into words πŸ’•

For now, we’re simply grateful that Bambi is happy, comfortable, and enjoying life as she should be πŸ₯°

Bambi is currently in a wonderful short-term foster home while we awaited decisions regarding her treatment and future care. Now that we have a plan in place, she is looking for a long-term foster home where she can settle and enjoy life to the fullest.

A huge thank you to everyone at Tesoro Bolton for the incredible donation drop-off this morning. ❀️

They dedicated a pizza, The Luna, to their beautiful girl Luna, who sadly gained her angel wings far too young. All proceeds from the pizza were donated to support our shelter, and instead of receiving the money, we asked for food and cat litter donations to help care for the animals in our care.

We are so grateful for your kindness, generosity, and support. These donations will make a real difference and help us continue caring for the dogs and cats who need us most.

I had the pleasure of meeting Luna, and she was such a special girl who will be forever missed. 🐾🌈
