🎉 A little update from us at Moorlands Café & Grill...

From this week onwards, we'll be open every Tuesday as well as our usual opening days 💛

That means you'll now find us open Monday to Saturday for:

🍳 Breakfast
🥪 Lunch
☕ Coffee
🍰 Cake

Whether you're meeting friends, popping in for a quick coffee or just passing through Bodmin, we'll be here in Market House Arcade 🌿

😢😢😢We should “bee” saving our bees 🐝

This is devastating news for our bees.

This chemical has already been banned or restricted in several countries, yet it has only just been approved here in Cornwall with very little notice.

Glyphosate has just been approved by Cornwall Council for use along some of Cornwall’s highways, roads, pavements and urban areas — places where wildflowers grow and pollinators feed.

These “weeds” are not just weeds.
They are vital food sources for bees and insects.
Remove the flowers, and you remove the food.
No flowers means no food.
No insects means birds can’t feed their young.
It’s a chain reaction — and it affects the whole ecosystem.

⏳ With such little notice, we are now up against the clock.

There has been little time to properly explore safer alternatives or for the public to have a meaningful say.

It has also been classified as “probably carcinogenic” by the World Health Organization.

As of today, all business decisions will be made by her. Please note the following changes:
🦴 Payment now accepted in treats (premium only, she has standards and is very fussy)
🛁 Grooming appointments may be delayed due to mandatory belly rub breaks
🐾 Muddy paws are now encouraged, not discouraged
🐶 All customers must say “who’s a good girl?” upon entry
