LOCKDOWN UPDATE
Following society guidelines I CAN still provide essential sessions to maintain animal health and welfare, along with non-urgent work providing that social distancing measures and safe working can be maintained.
At the moment I will not be taking on any new clients until after the lockdown period.
I request that clients adhere to social distancing whilst I work on their animal.
Also if any client is feeling ill or has been in contact with anyone that may have Covid 19 that they cancel their appointment and we can reschedule to a later date.
Many thanks for your continued support through these challenging times.

Just for all those of you that have agility equipment...a slow walk is fantastic for strengthening the core muscles.

๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸพCore strength ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’œ
Our recent Canine course at LGS was all about Core Strength & how that can help reduce the risk of injury ๐Ÿ˜‰

๐Ÿ•Controlled slow down hill slopes can be used as they strengthen & stabilise the abdominal muscles ๐Ÿ’ช increasing range of motion of the forelimb by encouraging reach & eccentric strengthening of the shoulder muscles ๐Ÿ•

๐ŸพThere are 3 groups of Paraspinal muscles that support & surround the spine ๐Ÿ˜‰

๐ŸพOur dogs use these muscles every time they lean to one side, bend or twist ๐Ÿ˜‰

๐ŸพThe Re**us Abdominis & Transversus Abdominis are responsible for the six-pack we see in body builders ๐Ÿ˜‰

๐Ÿ•Core functions: Stability & Mobility: how to train: through Proprioception & Flexibility = Reduced Injury Risk ๐Ÿพ

๐ŸพCricket can take the dog walk at speed but also in a controlled slow pace so we are helping to strengthen & stabilise those important core muscles ๐Ÿ˜‰

This week another CPD day working with canines on core strengthening and proprioception. It may look an easy task but it takes practice and is invaluable for keeping all dogs in tip top condition. Thank you for an awesome day.

Many thanks to all my clients for your support at this difficult time,
I apologise that I have not posted on here recently and kept you all up to date....with the Covid 19 pandemic.
I had already stopped visiting clients and cancelled a workshop as felt it would be irresponsible to continue in the last couple of weeks.
At this current time I have a workshop booked on the 19th April which will be cancelled under the circumstances. I have another booked on 26th July which will hopefully be ok to go ahead and all those booked can attend that workshop if they wish.
Please all stay safe and hopefully I will be able to see you all at a later date.๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ
