We have our gorgeous knitted poppies again this year. A big thank you to Elma, Wendy and Mary for making sure we had enough to supply Canine Care - Dog Grooming with their order of 40 purple poppies. Pop over to their page and see their lovely pooches modelling them. If you want one for your pooch you'll need to be quick!

Purple poppies commemorate the millions of animals that have died or been injured in military conflicts throughout history. We will be donating all money raised from the sale of purple poppies to the Scottish SPCA.

All money raised from red poppies will be donated to Poppy Scotland

Please excuse my language but I am seriously PI**ED OFF……… with people who make appointments and don’t show up with no prior notice!

3 times in one day last week, one yesterday and another one this morning 🤬 I HAVE A CANCELLATION LIST THAT I CAN FILL THESE APPOINTMENTS WITH, if I have notice it’s not a problem. I work 1:1, I don’t have back up dogs waiting.

I get that life gets busy and things happen, I know that better than most with a young busy family and a mum in a care home, but just not to turn up with no message even at last minute is unacceptable.

This is my wage, my livelihood, I don’t do this as a hobby.

This pays my bills, buys my kids food and clothing.
LIFE IS HARD ENOUGH please have some decency.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS and APPOINTMENTS CANCELLED WORH LESS THAN 24hrs NOTICE WILL BE CHARGED AT FULL PRICE…………..

This afternoon I have had to go out and pick up several pieces of dog 💩 poo from the path from my gate to the entrance of Liddle Drive.

This is unacceptable!

If I find out this was a customer, you will no longer be welcome at Canine Care.

This is a public path and I do all I can to minimise any disruption to my neighbours.

Should you get caught short please just chap the door, I have poo bags and a bin……….
