🎉 Big news! 🎉

The winner of the £3,000 Ancol Shelter Grant is…West Wales Poundies Dog Rescue 🐾

This incredible grant will help them transform a field into secure paddocks, creating a safe space where more dogs can play, stretch their legs, and enjoy the freedom they deserve. For dogs who have come from the pound and faced a difficult past, this means so much more than just exercise, it’s the chance to build confidence, make friends, and rediscover the joy of simply being a dog. 🐶💚

The team at West Wales Poundies Dog Rescue are over the moon with this support. Not only will it enrich the daily lives of the dogs in their care, but it will also ease the strain on volunteers, giving them the chance to see happy, wagging tails as dogs run free in a safe environment. West Wales Poundies is run entirely by volunteers, who found homes for 187 dogs last year.

We can’t wait to share photos of the project once it’s completed, showing the incredible impact this grant will have on both the dogs and the people who care for them.

A heartfelt thank you to Ancol Pet Products for their generosity and compassion in making this possible, a true gift of hope, happiness, and second chances.

Find a home Friday!

At Ancol, we’re honoured to support several charities across the UK and sponsor dogs in their care until they find their forever homes. 💜
Today, we’d love you to meet Bonnie from !

Bonnie is a stunning Mioritic Shepherd who found a home earlier this year, but sadly returned to Brighter Days Rescue due to an ear infection that caused some unusual behaviour. Since being back, she’s been on a diet, had a lovely groom, and is now looking and feeling fantastic! 💖

Bonnie has been with Brighter Days Rescue since early June and she’s such a friendly, loving girl. She adores belly rubs and has been an absolute star on her outings, from visiting Jollyes Pet Store, Littleton Lodge Care Home, and even strutting her stuff at a Porsche Golf Event! 🐶🚗⛳️

She walks beautifully on the lead, though she can be a little barky around certain dogs, but with the right training and guidance, this is very manageable. She also plays brilliantly with dogs of all sizes and has loved trips to secure fields with her friends. 🐕💛

Bonnie is truly a special girl who’s ready to shine in her forever home. Could that be with you? 🏡✨
