🌿 Welcome Dr Catherine Nothling MRCVS! 🐾

We’re excited to welcome Dr Catherine Nothling to our veterinary team! She’s settled in beautifully over the past few weeks, and her calendar is already filling up with cats and dogs.

Catherine graduated from the University of Nottingham in December 2025 and many of you may remember her from the three years she spent shadowing Rinnert. Now a fully qualified veterinarian, she brings a passion for natural healing, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and calm, low-stress care.

She’s dedicated to making every patient feel safe and comfortable while guiding owners with compassionate, realistic solutions.

We recently made a donation to Animal Sanctuary from our charity account, made possible by the incredible generosity of our customers who choose to donate.

We were so touched to receive a heartfelt thank-you letter from the team at Hillside, who shared that our donation “will go towards feed, including grass, nuts and vital hay, as well as the daily care needed for the 4,000 rescue animals who depend on us.”

For over three decades, Hillside Animal Sanctuary has been rescuing animals from suffering and neglect, bringing them to safety where they can live out the rest of their natural lives in peace. Thanks to such generous support, this vital work can continue!

🎉 Last year, on Lockie’s 14th birthday, his family shared this wonderful update with us 🐾💛" We just wanted to let you know that our dog Lockie has just had his annual check up at our regular vet and they are really impressed with how well he’s doing also, today is his 14th birthday 🥳 we never thought he’d see another birthday, or that we’d do half of the things we’ve managed to do with him this year given his 1-3 month prognosis after his cancer diagnosis in January. Yet here we are 11 months later and he’s had the best day at the dog park with his friends! We are incredibly grateful for all you’re doing for him ☺️🐾"

Polar has been coming to see us for just over two months for help with her joint issues.
Here she is enjoying her acupuncture treatment with our vet Rinnert. Polar also has a bespoke blend of Chinese herbs which further support her therapies.
