Animals Changing Lives 🌟

Yesterday was such a proud moment — my daughter had the incredible opportunity to ride for Princess Anne,& Martin clunes and she was even featured on BBC News, The Echo, and South Today! 🐴💙

Moments like these remind us just how powerful animals can be, especially for people with autism, anxiety, or additional needs. Horses — and all animals — have an amazing ability to ground us, calm us, and help us reconnect with the world around us.

That’s exactly what we’re trying to achieve here at Blandford Animal Sanctuary — creating a space where people can come, slow down, breathe, and simply enjoy the company of our beautiful rescue animals. 🐐🐴🐑🐇

It’s about mental health, mindfulness, and the magic of connection — stepping away from screens, spending time outdoors, and feeling the peace that only animals can bring.

Come visit, meet the animals, and see for yourself just how healing a little bit of animal love can be. 💚🌿

Did you know most supermarket eggs come all the way from Ukraine or Poland? 😮
Our hens are truly local — big, small, and very happy!
They spend their days free-roaming the fields and laying eggs that taste just how eggs should.
Every box sold helps feed and care for the animals at Blandford Animal Sanctuary. 💕
You can find our eggs at the sanctuary (in the fridge) or at Bartletts store Blandford.

🌾 Open Farm Afternoon – This Saturday (4th) from 12pm 🌾

Weather permitting, we’re opening the gates for a relaxed afternoon on the farm! 🐐🐓🐑

✨ £5 entry per person – includes animal feed so you can hand-feed our friendly goats, chickens and sheep.

Come and unwind, meet the animals, and enjoy the countryside. All funds raised go directly towards the animals.
