Having been invited to run in the “something quirky “ team at the Cowdrey Estate charity challenge last Saturday we decided to make a weekend of it . The challenge is a well run and well supported gundog test and auction. Wall to wall sunshine and smiles.
Now for our Thank Yous. There is hospitality and then there is Keith & Angie!
We had a ball and wanted for nothing . We drank and ate and laughed.
Sunday - South Downs / with Chris Richardson. Thank you for your hard work to give us an enjoyable day.
Monday - Isenhurst - to visit someone I’ve known for as long as I’ve been in Gundogs. Gilly and Clive , what a beautiful estate. We loved every minute and were sad to leave .⭐️❤️

Thank you to all the handlers who came to train with me at HGA ground near Skipton yesterday.
The ground has everything needed with 5 wire fences, walls & tracks. Long grass, short grass and water.
Thank you all for your good humour and concentration.
To Kate K for lifting shifting and throwing . Parking duties and paparazzi skills, Heather & I can’t thank you enough.

By Kind permission of Jenkinsons Sporting - We are very lucky to be able to offer group training again in Eskdalemuir Nr. Lockerbie - Scottish Borders - for A/V Retrievers.
We are taking bookings for groups of between 6/8 handlers for 2 or 3 midweek days - late June & July 2026
We are not taking weekend bookings as working test dates would collide as they are released. Get in touch via messenger or email [email protected] to express interest . Novice & open standard welcome
