๐พlast minute cancelation / missed appointments ๐พ
As you all will agree this past year has been extremely difficult for businesses. It is with a heavy heart that I have to write this post as majority of my customers have been so supportive. However I am finding that some customers are canceling appointments on the day or missing appointments all together. We have had 5 late appointment cancellations this week... and we are only on Tuesday!
When this happens my team and I are standing in an empty salon. The team still need paying, the bills still need paying.
This can be frustrating when there is just one dog booked in, however some people book multiple dogs in at a time and just don't show up
Look at it from our side
4 missed appointments based on ยฃ40 per groom = โขยฃ160 loss per week
โขยฃ640 loss per month
โขยฃ8,320 loss per year!
It's been a difficult decision, however we are in agreement that any appointments missed without a 24 hour notice period in future will require full payment of the missed appointment before any rebooking will be made.
The team and I will be happy to discuss any appointments that need altering. We understand that life gets busy and we are more than happy to re-arrange time and days.
