Take care out there 🐾

Did you know that not all surfaces heat up equally in the summer?

University research shows that artificial grass, running tracks, and Asphalt can reach over 50°C, hot enough to burn your dog's paws in minutes.

✅ Natural grass stayed the coolest, making it the safest choice.
❌ Asphalt and running tracks? Best to avoid in the heat.

Top tip: Stick to walks before 8am or after 8pm when it's cooler, and always check the ground with your hand first.

‼️ Please don’t leave your pets in a vehicle or conservatory ‼️🥵

Cars can heat up fast, even on cloudy days. Leaving your dog alone in a car, even for a short time, can be dangerous.

Don’t take the risk. If your dog can’t come with you, it’s safest to leave them at home.

Her family noticed that she had a stick stuck in her mouth and brought her in to have it removed.
