🦟Our Flea Policy At The Fairy Dog Mother Dog Groomers 🦟
We are seeing a rise in fleas again over the last few weeks - to protect your dogs please make sure your dog's flea treatment is kept up to date because if we do have a dog that happens to have fleas in the salon your dog will be protected and won’t be bringing them home ☀️🦟
While I understand that fleas can happen and it is completely normal for your dogs to pick up fleas - especially if their explorers they do create a serious issue in a grooming environment. When fleas are found, I must immediately:
• Use additional flea-specific products during the groom;
• Deep clean and disinfect my salon and equipment;
• Treat the shop with insecticide to prevent an infestation; and
• Spend extra time ensuring the salon is safe for every pet that follows
•Hot wash all towels and bedding to insure no fleas are hiding
If we discover that your dog has a fleas during their groom, there will be an extra £10 fee on top of your groom to cover the flea bath that we will provide and also fumigation of the salon.
This policy is in place to keep every dog safe, healthy and comfortable while visiting us.
