Another Open win at Maldon.
Pretty stoked to do this at the 50th Campdraft run by the Maldon club. And no I haven’t done them all as the club is slightly older than me😂
Kaspers Versace for Kirkbys Stud Stock Horses did both the soft run and the tough run to place 3rd in the Novice.
Thanks to all the sponsors and the committee for running a great draft yet again.

When your on your on⭐️Mobile Pricetag -1st in Saturdays Open and 4th in Sundays Open at Skipton.
Proud to win the Les Hatfield Memorial Campdraft-Les was a founder of the Skipton Campdraft and a long time top campdrafter in his day.
Mobile Jessie J-by Pricetag made both the Maiden and Novice finals finishing 4th in the Maiden.
Kaspers Versace owned by Kirkbys Stud Stock Horses was 4th in the Open behind Pricetag and ran 2nd in the Novice for our first outing together. Many thanks to the Skipton committee for putting on a great show and also the major improvements to the grounds.

Very grateful to Kirkbys Stud Stock Horses to be riding a horse like Kaspers Versace. An Acres Destiny mare with speed desire and a lot of ability.

What a duo these two will become. After meeting for the first time on Friday, Kaspers Versace and David Murphy (Murphy Performance Horses) placed 2nd in the Novice and 4th in the Open at the Skipton and District Campdraft on the weekend. The cattle were tough, with only 8% of all runs getting the gate, and 16% getting an outside score. Congrats to David and Versace; I can't wait to see what's next.

Nutrien Classic Sale Results
The thing I enjoy the most when selling these young horses at the Classic sale is the opportunity that’s created for them to go to great stables throughout the country.
3 sold to 3 different states, they met their reserve and all are planned to return to compete at the Classic 2026.

Ballandown Shelby $12000 sold to Ben and Jaye Hall at Muttaburra QLD.

Royalpark Atlantic Ice $15000 sold to Andrew, Ange and the jockey Kayla Lyons Hamilton Victoria.

Mobile Mystar $16000 sold to Brendan and Lee Lewis Humpty Doo Northern Territory.

Great time back in the show ring this weekend at the Central Vic ASH show. Finished the weekend off by winning the Open Challenge on Chalani Tempo.

Only one thing is better than winning a 3 round campdraft-that’s winning 2 three round campdrafts on the same day.

Mobile Dollar- ASH Maiden Series winner with scores of 89,88 and 89 in the final.

Mobile Pricetag-Feature Open with scores of 88,86 and 89 in the final.

Both horses are out of my old favourite mare Mobile Priceless, so looking forward to starting the 3 year old and yearling out of her.

Pretty cool story from the weekend, especially from the horse breeder side, which those of you that do it know how long the journey takes on whether you succeed or fail.
Some of you will know Mobile Blue Angel my grey mare, well adding to her story 2 of her younger sisters have just started their campdraft career with great success in different states with different jockeys.
Mobile Annagun owned by Jacqui Kohler in their first campdraft came 5th in the Encouragement at Keith SA.
Mobile Design owned by Jessica Smith in their first campdraft Won the Encouragement at Bunnaloo NSW.
Funnily enough their dam Mobile Roseanna never even competed because we had too many horses at the time so horse math says let’s breed more and put her straight in the broodmare paddock😂
Don’t worry we knew what we had as her 2 sisters Mobile Jessico and Mobile Alaska drafted successfully and Mobile Expression played polocrosse.
Roseanna is only 13 years old so many more foals to come hopefully including a classy 3 year old Mobile Emerald which I think I might just keep.

Easy to do anything with catch, shoe, float etc and rides up the road or around the farm without a fuss.
Can be tight after a long spell but when in work she is fine.

Had a ball trying my hand at the NVL Cow Horse last weekend. Learnt so much about the sport thanks to some very helpful competitors who were happy to offer words of wisdom. Even managed a placing the Open Cow Horse and a couple in the Novice.
