It’s that time of the week when I drop in on 13 year old Lucy the golden retriever!

With her having frequent seizures, her owner hasn’t been able to get out to his walking club anymore. But since I’ve been there to help look after her, he’s back out on the trails again!

Meet Leon. ❤️
Leon was recently given up to us and it didn’t take long to realise something was wrong with his ear as it had started to bleed, he had a large painful growth in it something that had been clearly left untreated for some time .
After a vet visit it was clear that he needed urgent surgery to remove the growth .
Luckily the procedure went well and Leon is now recovering but isn’t happy about having to wear the “Cone of shame” .
As everyone knows vet care is so expensive and this unexpected surgery has been a big financial hit for our small sanctuary that’s why we are reaching out for help.
If you could donate any amount no matter how small it would be such a help and and we would be so grateful.

Leon will be available for rehoming when he is better, He is approximately 5 years old and is such a big fluffy softy , he would need to be a indoor cat as he hasn’t been out and about .

It’s with a heavy heart that I share the news that beautiful Daisy the bulldog has sadly passed away.

Daisy wasn’t just a dog I looked after—she was a gentle soul, full of love, character, and charm. From her snoring to her little waddles, she brought so much joy to every day we spent together. It was a privilege to care for her and be in her life.

My thoughts are with her family and especially her sister, Bella, who loved her deeply and gave her the most wonderful life. She will be so missed, but never forgotten.🐾

Rest easy, Daisy. You were truly one of a kind. 🤍

I looked after Ava (Labrador), Dora, Charlie (14 y/o who has limited vision and required daily medication) and Sid (very timid rescue)

By the end of my 4 night stay, I had formed special bonds with all 4 animals. So rewarding gaining the trust of the more nervous ones ❤️
