Personal vendetta??
I’m receiving a lot of messages from friends and clients highlighting a particular ‘trainers’ post about me and my van.
The incident in question - the facts:
9:30am. Thursday. 8 degrees. The moss. 1 hour.
The dogs in my van were my dogs and one training client who is with me for half days and cannot be exercised with other dogs. I’m not a dog walker, I’m a dog trainer. We did one half an hour walk with my clients dog (one loop of the moss) whilst it was quiet to give her a nice relaxed blow out to start the day. We then went back to the van swapped dogs over and did the same with the rest of the dogs. Then we left. The howling dog in question is my dog. He howls regardless of where he is. At home. In the garden. In the van. He doesn’t care - he just likes to talk. The van was in no way hot at this time which is why we were able to do this at this time. The dogs are also in spacious crash proof crates with ventilation holes in them and fans. No dogs were harmed or distressed. My dogs come everywhere with me as long as the weather allows. They are crate trained and comfortable in the van. Being out with me all the time allows them to have as many opportunities to get out and do stuff - being working line dogs, they particularly thrive with this routine.
I am unable to respond directly to the ‘trainer’ in question as before she even posted the picture of my van she had already blocked my personal and business page. I assume she knew exactly whose van it was before beginning this chain of online slander. I have never met this lady before and have no knowledge of her business. Just what her previous clients have come to me and told me. Unfortunately the dog world is a petty place where professionals attempt to bring down others instead of supporting one another and building an inclusive, friendly atmosphere. The posts written are slander as they are factually incorrect. Anyone can write anything on social media and claim it to be true. In reality all there is, is a picture of my van and a ‘competing’ business owners fictional story about the situation.
As always, our own dogs and our clients welfare is the most important thing to us🫶
