Well another night of glam come to an end at the Coastal Radio DAB Local business awards 2026. Unfortunately we didnt take away the trophy but we got to finals out of 5500 nominees across the categories. Good morning everyone,

Abit of a negative one this morning. Over the past few weeks ive had an increase in people not showing for their appointments even with a reminder message coming out before hand. This is a huge loss for me financially & time wise as its impossible to fill appointments when people dont show. I alway give you at least 10 minutes before the appointment will have to be cancelled as i cant physically do the full job before my next appointment. If this is the case i need payment in full but as you no sometimes people just dont pay.

So really this is a plea if you can not make your appointment let me know in at least 48 hours notice. I understand sometimes things happen and life gets in the way but this is my business & my life earnings so I would appriciate your notice where physically possible.

So I took the time during bank holiday to travel to Essex & take an educational seminar ... Always trying to educate myself more as knowledge plays a HUGE part to being a groomer making sure I am applying the best care for your fur babies welfare 🤎🐾

So much history & science of dogs coats that is not portrayed well in the grooming industry leading to bad grooming, damaged skin & coat. This is why learning and consistanly educating myself is key so I can apply it to my grooming & also pass on this knowledge to you guys.
