Dear customers,

Sadly Hays Hounds Grooming Parlour is closing this month, We are moving house 🏡 and location and we finally have a moving date which was much sooner than planned.
Myself and my partner Stu are also expecting a baby this year and I plan to reopen the Parlour next year in the new location.

I will be in touch privately to everyone booked in already for this month and next.

I want to thank you for your loyal custom over the years and I will miss all your doggies visiting and huge apologies for such little notice it has been a rollercoaster these last 4 months.

I have two groomers which are local that I can recommend to you if you wish.

Please do not reply to this message as it is a group text for all to see.

📌2021 Price Increase from March 1st 🐕

Small dogs £22-£28 (Yorkie, Shi Tzu etc)

Medium £28-£40 (cockerpoo, spaniels, cavapoo, Tibetan etc)

Large £40 + (Labradoodle etc)

All prices are subject to matt free coats, size of the dog and length and condition of coat on arrival.

£10 additional fee for dematting, fleas or very difficult behaviour.

If you do need to cancel your grooming appointment, please make sure you inform us 24 hours before the time of appointment to avoid full payment cancellation fee.

We will inform you of the price increase for your doggy when booking your next appointment.

📍Covid-19 Update 📍

Following further guidance from our local Council, due to the latest restrictions, effective immediately we are only able to offer Welfare Grooming.

⚠️Please note that a standard grooming appointment is not classed as welfare grooming.

This is to reduce public as much as possible as per the government rules.

We are under very strict instructions to follow these guidelines so please only consider contacting us if it is truly a welfare issue.

We are very grateful for your on going support and loyalty during this terrible uncertain time... we will get through this !

📍Update -

📌Covid -19 Lockdown 2.0

Unfortunately due to the latest update by the government I am having to close the parlour on 5th November 2020 until further notice.

I will do my best to hopefully fit everyone in as soon as possible but please bare in mind with the Christmas period this will result in some dogs having to wait until beginning of Jan 2021 for their next hair cut.

🐕 💅🏼Just a little reminder, I offer to trim every dogs nails as long as it is safe for me to do so.

If the dog is moving too much I will not risk cutting too much nail off and causing them to bleed and if the dog is aggressive towards me then I will not risk my hands getting bitten.

I will only trim them as short I think is safe for me to do so without making them bleed.

Your dog may have long nails but may also have long quicks. 🩸

With the difficult dogs, I will ask you to either try to trim them yourself at home or take them to a vet.

It’s a free service I kindly offer in my grooming process which I can decline at any point.
