​The Longsight Riding School is a well established, family business that has been around since 1997, earning an excellent reputation based on our over 25 years of experience in the field. Our tack shop was opened more recently in 2005, to meet a growing demand. A passion for what we do makes the Longsight Riding School the best choice for riding, lessons, livery, stables, tack shop and everything

equestrian. Licensed and fully insured Riding School and Pony Club offers highly trained Teaching Staff and excellent facilities. Whether you are looking to learn to ride as a beginner or improve on existing skills, our friendly team and lovely horses ensure that almost anyone will learn to ride here at Longsight Riding School. With well mannered, lovely natured horses and ponies, we are sure to have the perfect ride to meet your abilities. Located on the A59, just outside the village of Langho in Blackburn, the riding school, livery and tack shop are easily found and there is plenty of parking. We’re open every day of the week throughout the year. Indoor and outdoor stables, two outdoor schools and an indoor school mean you can ride whatever the weather. We are also a Pony Club Centre with members’ events, as well as the very popular ‘Own-a-pony’ days helping newcomers to care for ponies as well as riding them.

With DIY and part livery, food, haylage and bedding available and of course the tack shop that sells everything for horse and rider, including brushes, lotions and potions, treats and toys – the Longsight Riding School is what every rider is looking for.

Max has been with us for 17 years and over that time has taught many people to ride both adults and children.
Everyone who met him fell in love with him!
He will be very much missed!
