Last weekend saw me looking after the ponies at Houghton Track Livery what a fabulous set up. All ponies were super chilled and content. A pleasure to deal with. They had various posts for nets to be tied up and crates dotted about the track and a fabulous water buffet.

Welfare clips are important especially horses with lots of feather

This guys feathers had grown so long and were overdue a clip. This guy has CPL and some itchy sore spots so he should feel so much better now and his owner can get on top of the itchiness and sores 😊 super clean 🧼 legs made all the difference to his clip. Using the Liveryman harmony plus and they went through his hair like a hot knife through butter 🧈😍

What a weekend 🦄🫶

Got to get my dressage gear out of retirement and with the borrow of a gorgeous horse I got back out into the world of dressage at Croft Top Equestrian Centre for a Novice test. Considering I’ve only rode the mare a few times we came away with 65% score 🥰

Then on Sunday covered a lovely yard Houghton Track Livery making sure all the horses were ok and got their hay nets put out on track and waters topped up.

A mix of a veteran and a youngster that needs their rugs on to keep warm and dry as they are thin skinned and a PBA that is fine naked still as is a very good doer 🐷. All lovely and warm when I left 💖

Brought they boys in while I poo 💩 picked the field. They had a little snack and a good brush and feet picked out aswell as a check over making sure they still had 4 legs and all shoes on. Then rugs on and back out
