What a fantastic first workshop with our UK Sniffer Dogs beginners.

Huge well done to all the dogs and their humans, — you absolutely smashed it.
From learning the basics of scent detection to building confidence and focus, every team made amazing progress. It was such a joy to watch those noses switch on and see the excitement grow with every find.

This is just the beginning of your scentwork journey, and I'm so proud of how well everyone did. Keep practising, keep having fun, and we can’t wait to see what you all achieve next time.

Silver UK Sniffer Dogs Workshop – Session One Success.

Today we kicked off our Silver level UK Sniffer Dogs workshop, and what an exciting start it was. Our incredible canine teams began their journey into odour generalisation, learning to detect and indicate on a new target scent.

This step is a key progression in a dog’s scent detection training, helping them transfer their skills to novel odours with precision and confidence. It was a joy to see the dogs engaging their olfactory superpowers and their handlers rising to the challenge with focus and enthusiasm.

Im so proud of everyone’s progress and can’t wait to see how these talented teams develop.

Off on an adventure today — heading over to Dunoon on the ferry as a guest trainer for UK Sniffer Dogs.
Excited to be working with some brilliant dogs and their handlers, sharing the fun and focus of scentwork.
