My name is Val, I have always loved dogs and they have always been a major part of my life. I achieved my ambition of working with, and looking after dogs when I opened Hamilton Hound Hotel in 2023. At Hamilton Hound Hotel, I cater to your dog's day care and overnight boarding needs, working with you to ensure your dog's happiness and wellbeing is top priority. Located next to acres of woodland, y

our dog(s) can enjoy twice daily walks or an alternative enrichment plan tailored to their needs. I am fully insured, first aid trained and have OCNLR Level 3 in Professional Canine Day Care and Boarding. I look forward to providing a home from home service for your beloved pet. Harvey arrived this morning for his little break and settled in immediately with Trouble and Gracie. Met up with Debby, Barnum and Rafi for the morning walk and the dogs had a great time together. Reggie the Collie saw us and headed over to play with the pack. The weather was pretty dismal for the afternoon walk but Gracie and Harvey still wanted to stay out in the rain and play when we got back. ❤️

An early misty start to the day for us and we had a lovely walk around the Sang before breakfast. Barnum and Rafi headed home this afternoon, and Gracie will certainly miss her time playing with Rafi. We finished the day with a pleasant afternoon stroll with Gracie and Trouble. ❤️

Sunday, lovely Sunday. 🥰. Up and out early with Barnum, Rafiki, Gracie and Trouble and we met lots of lovely dogs and their owners this morning. Reggie the Collie who we meet often and who loves Trouble even joined us for a runaround at one point. Home for breakfast and a well earned rest for the crew. More genteel walk this afternoon to round off the day. ❤️

After a few days off for a family celebration I couldn’t wish for a lovelier day to get back in the swing of things. The gorgeous Miss Mabel arrived in time for the morning walk where we met up with Debby, Rafi and Barnum. The weather was perfect and the dogs were amazing. Back home Mabel found her favourite spot where she likes to keep an eye on things. Mabel was collected after our afternoon walk and I’m already looking forward to her next visit.
