Puppy treats!

And what do we recommend, there are lots more but these are the favourites of my customers with puppies.

As they grow and start to teeth puppies want chews they can sink their teeth into, while toys are great, they need something more and this is where natural treats are perfect!

You want something that will soften with chewing so they can get their teeth into and have the satisfaction of chewing on, plus it’ll keep them busy and be a tasty snack!

These are my top recommendations!

🚨Exciting news! 🚨 I opened Bishops Waltham Branch just over a year ago and we have our first 🥇Gold 🥇pass!

Huge 🥳 congratulations 🥳 to Instructor Jake and Ron! Ron was in the first group of puppies when we opened the Branch and Jake’s dedication to his training makes me very proud! Made slightly trickier for Jake who has a lab that is not massively food motivated 😂

Watching them work together has been lovely to watch, Ron loves working for Jake and they make a great team! Well done both of you 😊

Temperatures are set to cool down a little this week but are still going to be warm, even if the sun isn’t out the humidity can still be too much.

🌞Here are some tips to keep your dog cool and happy during the Summer months 🌞

🚶‍♀️ If your dog needs to be walked, walk them early morning or later at night if the temperatures are low enough.

💦 Make sure they always have access to drinking water.

💧 Set them up a paddling pool in the garden to cool off with.

🏠 Provide them with cooling mats, coats, bandanas etc if they struggle in the heat

👃 Provide some mental stimulation to keep them occupied - scent work, snuffle mats etc

🧊 Make some delicious ice cube treats - add sprats, liver cake, fruit. Freeze licki mats and get inventive with what to cover them in!

📣 But most of all, be sensible - dogs every year die of heatstroke and it is a really awful way to go. Dogs do not die from missing a walk!

❤️ We don’t like to cancel classes but your dogs safety is paramount so we will always put them first.

Cosmo and Coco are sisters and we did think one was going to pass before the other but Coco smashed her stay this week to pass with her sister! Huge well done guys 😊
