As many of you know our lives were turned upside down in February when Paul was diagnosed with secondary AML
He needed a bone marrow transplant from a donor. He has spent a total of 12 weeks as an in patient in kings college hospital and is finally home thanks to a young 20 year old donor from Germany who has selflessly donated his bone marrow. What an amazing gift this young selfless boy has given our family. I am running to create awareness and raise funds for such an amazing charity that has supported us on this journey and will go on to support many other families
Even if you don’t sponsor me please discuss with those young members of your family to donate their bone marrow. There were many patients who we met that were struggling to get a match or had poor matches due to the lack of donors
We consider ourselves so incredibly fortunate
You can donate age 16 - 30 and it is a donation through blood
