Happy New Year.
Yesterday due to very cold temperatures the water butt tap froze. Someone left the tap open after they tried to get water and so later in the day I lost half the water in the butt before I could close it. If you have a dog that is very thirsty or you want water in freezing weather please bring water with you just in case. Thanking you in advance for closing the tap after opening. Thankfully temperatures look milder from today.

We have had our first bookings for the Christmas period (Christmas Eve to New Years Day).
Please read the instructions on the booking page and your confirmation email.

Bookings over this period are only for those who have been before and know how the system works. This is so we can have a break. In an emergency, we will of course take calls. Thanks K

Picked up 5 poos today. It really isn’t my job to pick up your dogs poo’s and put them in the bin. We are now in school holidays so there will be children in the field for the next few weeks with their parents and dogs. Please be vigilant and watch your dogs, so that everyone can enjoy the field without treading in dog poo. Thank you K😊

There is a chance the temperature may go about 24 on Thursday and between 22-24 this coming week. Hottest time mid afternoon.

Please make sure you consider your dogs ability to cope if you have a flat nosed dog or a dog with a long coat. We do track temperatures and we are asking users to check the forecast before booking.

In extreme heat we may close the field during hot weather or ask you to move your booking to a cooler period earlier or later, for the health and safety of your dog(s).
